Your website is either protected — or it's a liability.
If your website goes down, gets hacked, or breaks after an update, you lose enquiries, revenue and trust. Business Shield™ protects it with 24/7 monitoring, secure offsite backups, recovery readiness and clear reporting.
Protection with visibility
Built for SMEs, ecommerce, corporates and multi-site businesses.
Most businesses don't realise they're exposed until something breaks
Business Shield™ is designed to reduce downtime, reduce risk and improve recovery readiness.
Downtime kills enquiries
If your website goes down, customers can't reach you and leads are lost immediately.
Broken updates create chaos
A failed plugin or theme update can break forms, layouts or key website functions.
Hacks damage trust
Spam pages, redirects and malware warnings hurt your reputation and search visibility.
No backup means panic
Without reliable offsite backups, recovery becomes stressful, uncertain and expensive.
What Business Shield™ actually does
A managed website protection system — not just a maintenance checklist.
Daily automated backups
Backups retained for 90 days and stored securely on Amazon S3.
24/7 uptime monitoring
Outages are identified fast, before they sit unnoticed and cost you leads.
Firewall & malware scanning
Helps reduce common attacks and improves early detection of issues.
Managed updates
Core, theme and plugin updates managed to reduce vulnerabilities and prevent breakage.
Emergency restore readiness
Roll your website back to a previous working version if something goes wrong.
Flexible reporting
Reports sent weekly, bi-weekly or monthly depending on your business needs.
Clear boundaries, no surprises
Business Shield™ protects and maintains your website. It does not rebuild or redevelop it. Here's exactly where the line sits.
Included in your plan
Everything needed to keep your site protected, monitored and recoverable.
- Daily backups with 90-day retention on Amazon S3
- 24/7 uptime monitoring and alerts
- Firewall and malware scanning
- Applying security patches and vulnerability fixes
- Managed WordPress core, theme and plugin updates
- Restore to the last working backup if an update fails
- Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly reporting
Not included (quoted separately)
Work beyond protection and maintenance is charged as a separate development job.
- Rebuilding or redeveloping site features, themes or custom code
- Repairing sites that break due to outdated, abandoned, nulled or incompatible themes/plugins
- Recoding custom functionality that a security or version update makes obsolete
- New design work, new pages, new features or content changes
- Third-party licences, premium plugin/theme fees and hosting costs
- Issues caused by changes made by you or other parties with site access
Business Shield™ keeps your website secure and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that every security fix, vulnerability patch, WordPress core update, theme update or plugin update will remain fully compatible with every existing feature on your site — particularly where custom code, outdated components or third-party integrations are involved. If your website breaks or loses functionality as a result of such a fix or update, we will restore it to the last working backup as part of your plan. Any development work required to repair, rebuild or replace the affected functionality is not included and will be quoted and charged separately.
7-Day Activation Guarantee

Visibility on your terms
Different websites need different levels of oversight and accountability.
Weekly reports
Best for higher-risk, high-traffic or actively managed websites needing close visibility.
Bi-weekly reports
A balance for businesses wanting regular oversight without constant reporting.
Monthly reports
Best for stable websites where management wants proof of work at a summary level.
Reports aren't just update logs. Even when plugins aren't updated every week, reports still show backup success, uptime monitoring, security scan results, malware checks, incidents detected, restore readiness and protection status — which is why weekly or bi-weekly reporting is valuable for many clients.
